Face shield holder

Thankfully, in these times where we can't help, we can help! The hospitals are in need of equipment. Our nurses, doctors and volunteers need our help! von Koch lamp shade

Inspired by the von Koch curve, and with a little bit of a twist, this design was developed to be a simple 3D fractal. However, as it is really good looking, I've decided to try turning it into a lamp shade. I think it turned out really nice. Update on the Sun F(ol)lower

The Sun F(ol)lower had an upgrade: It has a new, dedicated board. It simplifies the cabling a lot, and makes it quicker to (dis)assemble. As is, this board can be used as a prototyping board for reading 4 sensors (analogic input) of 10kOhm (to complete the voltage divider) and control 2 digital outputs. What's next: Now that the main board is up and running, the project can move to the next stage: -Improving the algorithm for light sensitivity in various light conditions; -Add a solar panel; -Redesign the structure to hold the servo motors, solar pannel, sensors and all the components.

Abalone

Here's a really simple to learn, yet great strategy game.    In the link, there's some info about the game and how to play: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abalone_(board_game) If you'd like to play online, press this link: https://lazymuttgames.com/games/Abalone/ The design of the board had some interesting challenges and required some study to make sure the marbles would slide properly. If you'd like to print this board, the files are available in my Thingiverse page here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3461916 I've decided to give it a go, with a small version of the board, with Ø16mm marbles and it works really well. The board has 160mm circumscribed. For the near future, an outer skirt will be added to collect the marbles. It wasn't printed with the board due to the printing bed dimensions. The skirt will have 3 parts that will connect with one another and with the board itself. This is how it will look like:

Anet A8 Filament changing upgrade

At first, changing the filament was always a nightmare with this printer. The so called "cold pull"... Not too quick, not too slow... Well, it jammed more than it worked. So... I've done the following upgrade, making it easy to access the extruding block. It's basically a hinge with a magnetic lock. The contact between the heat sink and the extruder block is still guaranteed and the heat dissipation is practically as it was before the upgrade.

Simple altimeter Oled display

Altimeter using a BMP 085 atmosferic pressure sensor and an Oled display SSD1306 128x32. This is a really simple example using two I2C devices. Sun F(ol)lower

A quick prototyping platform with two 360º digital servo motors, 4 LDR's and a two axis joystick. The system tracks a strong source of light and the sensitivity to which it responds can be adjusted.
