Exordium

The begining of a journey:

In here, I'll be posting some studies and projects mainly about mechanisms, electronics, programming, 3D modeling among other areas.

Added to that, I'm a proud owner of an Anet A8 3D printer, which was subject to a lot of modifications already, and allowed me to prototype a lot and discover a new world of possibilities.

I'll try to keep things simple and focus on the ideas or concepts.

So... Let's begin!

a-maze

This is a fun puzzle to solve.  Has several mazes stacked on top of each other. Once one level is completed, the ball falls to the next level. The tricky part is that this should be solved blindly... You shouldn't be able to see the ball, just ear it and feel it as it goes through the maze.  Maps can be used to help the player, however, the maximum difficulty level for this puzzle is to mentally map the maze (no aid) and solve it just by feel, focus and dextrous movements. Anet A8 Filament changing upgrade

At first, changing the filament was always a nightmare with this printer. The so called "cold pull"... Not too quick, not too slow... Well, it jammed more than it worked. So... I've done the following upgrade, making it easy to access the extruding block. It's basically a hinge with a magnetic lock. The contact between the heat sink and the extruder block is still guaranteed and the heat dissipation is practically as it was before the upgrade.
